Emma Stone: Getting "Spider-Man" Job Offer
While nothing has been officially agreed to as of yet, Deadline reports that the studio execs have decided on the "Easy A" actress to play the character of Mary Jane Watson.
As for the project, the 3D remake will be directed by Marc Webb and star Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man with a release date slated for July 3, 2012.
Meanwhile, the search continues for a lady to fill the role of Gwen Stacy - as speculation points to four top contenders including Dianna Agron, Mia Wasikowska, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott. (Hollywood Gossip)
