Kangna Ranaut
The actress has worked with Basu on a number of projects, including Life In A Metro and Gangster.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Ranaut is unhappy with the type of roles she is being asked to play in the director's films.
"Ranaut still cares for Basu. But he has been really unfair to her. You don't consider people as your lucky mascot, but in return give them a raw deal," a source claimed.
"There is much more to Ranaut than playing only demented females. She has it in her to display a gamut of emotions."
The star is also reported to have felt disappointed with the editing of Kites, which left her with minimal screen time. (taheena)
