Presenting A/W 2008 an elite womenswear collection entitled ‘La Belle Epoque’ a period in European history that began during the late 19th Century and lasted until World War 1. It was considered the ‘Golden Age’ . The colour palette is derived from peacock feathers - where metallic golds, bronzes and chocolates meet jewels such as emerald, peacock, violet & greens.
Luxurious silks, leathers and traditional wools combine to cherish the world of all that is old. With old English tailoring influences mixed with Parisian elegance. Adorned with Swarovski crystals, pearls and peacock feathers. ‘Wonderland’ for S/S 2009 is inspired by the quintessential English eccentricity and traditions of luxury and tailoring.
The feel of the collection is Afternoon tea in an English Garden with The Mad Hatter and The Queen. An eccentric mix of silks, tweeds and laces with details such as silk covered buttons, pleating, Swarovski crystals and hand embroidery offer their most exquisite collection yet.
A vintage colour palette of mink, sage, oyster, ivory, duck egg blue and ballet pink creates a soft and feminine collection for the boudoir. To coincide with ‘Wonderland’ is ‘Fairytale’ the new range of Bridal and Evening gowns offered solely through the Eternal Spirits Bridal Parlour, Nottingham.
